Danielle Poupon - Danielle Poupon
A native of Massachusetts, Danielle Poupon earned her degree in Mathematics from Boston University in 2000. She attended the writing program at the Paris American Academy in 2002.
She has spent most of her professional life in France, starting her career as a web developer for a file management software company in Paris. Once her French improved, she was hired as an actuary by a French reinsurer, working first in their Research and Development Department and next in their Natural Catastrophe Department.
Although she finds mathematics to be soothing, she has decided that office politics is not. And so she has been focusing on writing while raising her two kids, debuting at Suite101 in the summer of 2010.
